This morning this plant was pristine. I got home from work to see this.

What in the world? None of the plants around it were damaged at all.
More importantly, should I get rid of it in favor of a non damaged plant that isn't as far along or do you think it isn't a big deal?

Thanks!

I don't know what happened, but I don't think it's bad enough to give up on the plant yet.
Plant it and they will come.

Oh, sorry, I have to pick one plant out of three to put in the garden. This one is the furthest along so it was the assumed garden plant until this. There are two others maybe less than a week behind. I think I'll just pinch off the leaf and see how it grows. I wish I knew what happened, very odd.

Thank you!

I hope someone else can be more helpful than I was. I'm pretty lackadaisical about funny spots on my plants.
Plant it and they will come.

Well, I was about to post petty much the same thing as Sally ("I don't know what happened, but I don't think it's bad enough to give up on the plant yet.")

It doesn't look like anything to worry about to me... and if that plant is ahead of the others I would use it, myself. I wouldn't bother pinching the leaf off -- it just looks like a little sunburn or heat stress to me. (My cucumber leaves have some similar spots after wilting a bit during our one and only 90-degree day).
