Anyone here on garedn.org know anything about this complany? Anyone even purchased from them. They have a great price on a daylily I am interested in.

E-mail and ask if Kelly is Kelly Norris who bought Rainbow Iris Farm and moved it to Iowa? He's been active in the American Iris Society since he was a teenager. In any case, if this is the outlet for Fred Kerr's iris introductions, then I think you are dealing with a reputable organization. I think a web search would probably turn up quite a bit if it's the Kelly is the same Kelly Norris. He's an author, now, as well.

On further exploring, it looks like that it would be Kelly Mitchell, not Kelly Norris. This appears to be his daylily webpage jointly with Fred Kerr's iris webpage. If it were me, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. Maybe someone here who buys directly from hybridizers will have firsthand experience.

Well I searched the site here and found two very old posts by Tink recommending people check with Kelly Mitchell at Rainbow Acres for plants they were looking for. Apparently this Kelly is a lady. So Tinks recommendation is good enough for me, I called and e-mailed them so hoping for a reply!

Kelley emailed me back, they had all four plants in stock and will ship them in late September early October.

Larry, we have bought from Kelly Mitchell (Rainbow Acres) a couple times a few years ago. We were pleased with the daylilies that we received.
