The thing about the smoke tree is its soft visual appeal. It's striking in spring and early summer. The birds fight for its cushiony bloom residue, they like it for their nests. It's easy to grow in my climate, it is a slow grower and doesn't get very tall. It keeps its 'smoke' until nearly winter, it's such a pretty decorative plant.
