Ok here is a picture of another NOID that I got from the same source. The tips of the petals on this one are rounded rather then pointed like the other one.

Nice one Ginger, After growing several plumerias from seeds, I've come to accept that some of no ID ones may be from seedlings. Your bloom reminds me of my new seedling bloom that is refusing to open...this is a Maui's beauty seedling.

Maui Beauty is an excellent pod parent, some very nice named seedlings have come from her seeds.
Here are two:

Beautiful Hetty Lovey dubby , I have 2 seedlings of Maui's beauty bloom already but doesn't have one with curly or wavy feature yet. The yellow center and pink and white on the petals appear to be dominant.

This is day 3 of these partial open blooms of this particular seedling 😊, the petals are already washed out but the flower size is huge and the fragrance is good.

In that case they are worth keeping; they may change with second and third bloom cycles too.

Put my "happy camper" NOID back in the same spot again this year. She has 3 inflos and the seed pod is hanging in. I figure it is about 8 months old now ? Doesn't it take something like 9 months to mature ? and will it start to split when ready ? Don't want to harvest it too soon.

Yes, 9 months is average; You will notice the pod looking dull and dry and starting to crack; then it's time to take it off.
