I may be confused again
but are these two the same plant?
The Catalogue of Life shows as a synonym for
White Twinevine (
Funastrum clausum
)

I'll fix this, but you have it backwards. Funastrum clausum is the accepted name and Sarcostemma clausum is the synonym.
