Welcome! to NGA

Can you update your info to include the location of your new house?

Also, how big? Any flowers?

Always easier to ID a plant if we can whittle down some of the options.

Cleveland Ohio, it had no foliage in the winter. I pruned it rather nicely, out of the way of the sidewalk.

I don't know what it is but I thought someone would chime in before this. Can you update your info so your location shows at the top of the page? Then people won't have to search for it.

This plant has opposite leaves and there are no Hibiscus that I know of, including Rose of Sharon, that have opposite leaves.

The leaves look a little like rough leaf dogwood, but the growing tips are wrong...

Hmm.. its a hard one. At first sight i think its Buddleja asiatica. But the leaves surface look smooth not as rough as Buddleja. Confused

I was thinking Viburnum too because of the opposite leaves. That's where a picture of the branch tips in close-up could help.

What color are the backside of the leaves? If they are furry and with a white tint, maybe a paper mulberry.
