I recently bought a Lizards tail from an online seller and sprayed it with Nature's Care insect/disease and mite control. It's been fine up until this morning- I noticed this around the base of the plant in the pot along with a few yellowed leaves. Any idea what the culprit is and how to get rid of it...? I feel like it looks like it could be from a slug or something but I haven't had this occur in any of my other indoor plants.

Looks like you may have a couple of snails or slugs in that pot - they come out in the dark and hide during the day. Organic slug bait will do the trick.

The odd yellow leaf is not unusual for a new plant. Don't forget these plants have often been raised in a greenhouse with ample humidity, and luxury care in the way of feeding and watering. Btw, are you giving it a little bit of dilute fertilizer?

I agree I see the silver slug trails in the soil.

Forgive my stupidity...
Is your plant a Saururus cernuus ? I thought this was a bog plant or water garden plant and not something to be grown in a pot indoors.
Around here the plant grows in roadside ditches and is quite beautiful - I have always wanted to dig some up and bring them home. Thumbs up

Yes, I see the trails on the soil surface. Maybe the snails and/or slugs arrived with the plant as an unintended "gift" from the seller. Shrug!

It will grow in deep shade. but S cernuus is a bog/water plant that need wet soil.

All of my plants are temporarily indoors until my house purchase goes through. I went out and got a snail/slug control but am still seeing that webbing/slime and now there are fuzzy balls- I'm not sure if it's the control pellets or I have something else on my hands. Should I change the soil out? I have been giving this plant a lot of water! Thanks for the heads up, you guys!!
