If any of you are close enough to attend you're invited - Saturday afternoon unless it gets rainy. If it does, we'll go for Sunday.

One friend got the date mixed up and showed up a day early. No problem. We had a nice visit and she took a bunch of pictures while she watched me work.

'Tears of Joy' and 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles'. Note funny little flowers on ToJ. They have no petals, just the inner parts.

Small hostas in a trough. I had decorative stones put over this by Saturday. The stones look pretty and they help prevent the squirrels from digging.

'Liberty' and 'Cherry Berry'

In the bed closest to the house. Back row: 'Jewel of the Nile', 'Summer Breeze', 'Fortunei Aureomarginata', 'Fragrant Bouquet'. Second row from back: 'Ginko Craig, 'Purple Heart', 'Stand By Me'. Second row from front: 'Allan P. McConnell', 'Tickle Me Pink', 'Halcyon', 'X-rated'. Front border - 'Kifukurin Ko Mame'.

Looking the other direction. Foreground: 'Marilyn Monroe' with the ruffles and 'Spilt Milk' with the occasional streaks. Behind MM are 'Frosted Dimples' and 'Blue Shadows'. Behind them, 'Regal Splendor'. Both plants in pots are seedlings.

Looking across the front garden.

Around my oak tree. In no particular order (see if you can ID them) 'Diana Remembered', 'Sitting Pretty', 'Paul's Glory', 'Fujibotan', 'Karin', 'Brother Stefan' and others hard to see.

Same as the last garden from a different angle. You can see all of 'Charlotte's Web' (which needs dividing to stay streaked) in the lower right.
Thumb of 2016-06-26/ViolaAnn/f55e9d

Mouse garden. The one at the left is 'Country Mouse' which is from a different family than all the others. The others that you can see are 'Blue Mouse Ears' in centre, 'Pure Heart' in front, 'Church Mouse' at right and 'Frosted Mouse Ears' at left. There are a couple of others you can't see.

Part of the centre front garden. In the centre are 'Regal Splendor' and 'Harpoon'.

'Dee's Golden Jewel' (formerly 'Jewel of the Nile'). I divided it out of JOTN about 3 years ago.

My friend was intrigued where I keep my tools handy.

Looking east, the sun was catching this seedling in a pot. It's a 2012 seedling from 'Christmas Pageant'. I don't know who the daddy is, but it's got attitude and I like it.
Thumb of 2016-06-26/ViolaAnn/2b84b9

Looking up into the garden. Some of my earliest hostas are around the tree and well mired into tree roots - 4 'Undulata Albomarginata' plants. You can also see 'Gypsy Rose', 'Summer Music', a streaked division from 'Pewterware', 'Wylde Green Cream', 'Ice Cream', a 2006 seedling from 'September Sun' that I now call 'Golden Nolan' and 'Bell Ringer'.
Thumb of 2016-06-26/ViolaAnn/e19f03

Pretty much the same as the last photo except it shows 'First Mate' in the fore ground.
Thumb of 2016-06-26/ViolaAnn/04ee80

From close to the street - in front are, 'Raspberries and Cream', 'Lakeside Mom', 'Lakeside Cranberry Relish', 'Emerald Ruff Cut' and the little ones are 'Little Red Rooster' and 'Dragon Tails'.
