But I am not entirely sure. And if it is, any clue on the cultivar? My FiL gave them to me, culls and volunteers that were in more places that he wanted.

Any help is appreciated, and thank you for looking!

It defiantly looks like Larkspur, but I looked through the database, and couldn't find any match for it. Maybe someone else could help figure out what cultivar it is.

I'm back with a few more pictures, a bit closer this time. Both of these are separate plants.

I believe you have "common" larkspur, Consolida ajacis. If it was coming up from seed, it is likely not of a cultivar (anymore).

Larkspur (Consolida ajacis) was my thought too.

Thank you alot! Hurray! That is a big help.
They were given to me by my Father in Law a couple of months ago, they were volunteers that had spread from his own. Smiling They were about a foot or so high when he gave them to me, they either were volunteers or had self seeded.
