Meet you in the garden!
My humble question to my more knowledgeable friends is this: How do I get lavender and hydrangeas to grow? Do they like to be close to a building or can it grow in the open? Also, will it tolerate full sun? Please help!

Lavender likes full sun, quick draining soil and good air circulation.

Hydrangeas like fertile soil with organic matter and evenly moist conditions. They like good morning sun and dappled sun in the hottest part of the day and enjoy a bit of fertilizer in the spring and while blooming.

I hope that helps.
