Nice. It is a favorite. I had a huge one, then over watered and lost it along with several other favorites. Bought and planted replacements last fall. They are up, but very short, with one or two buds each.

Beautiful. I love them. Anemone nermosa is a favorite. I actually got two little tiny ones to bloom and am now watching the seed pods to collect for next spring.

I agree, Connie -- your flowers are gorgeous! I'd like to know what that first one is too -- as well as the 4th one; is that Tithonia?

I need to grow less veggies and more flowers, the veggies are too much work this time of year Hilarious! . (I canned 13 pints of salsa today, froze a bunch jalapeno halves to make future "poppers," and have some pepperoncini peppers in brine to pickle tomorrow... plus, the kitchen is overflowing with more tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers and zucchini, it was too wet in the garden today to pick anything, and tomorrow I'll pick and be even MORE overloaded... (oh, such a terrible problem... one that I've looked forward to for the last 12 months or so and now all I can do is complain about it Rolling on the floor laughing )

Thanks! The first pic is of 'First Love' Speedwell. The fourth is Red Jewel Helenium. It comes out red and then fades to orange and brown.

Veggies, Sandy, yes! That is exactly why I don't have a veggie garden. Too much work for me. I'm sure you and your family enjoy the rewards of your work, though.

Connie, in the winter I forget how much work it was ... so nice to be able to haul out a jar of beets or some frozen beans or whatever to have with supper... and the salsa and tomato sauce and canned tomatoes and tomato juice, so much better than buying supermarket tomatoes in the winter!! My biggest problem is that I want to do it all... and apparently my age is catching up to me, because my energy levels just don't match up to my aspirations for everything I want to get done! I do grow some flowers, but I'm afraid they get very neglected as the veggie garden starts producing Rolling my eyes.

You should try Honey Drop's companion Pink Princess! It is even sweeter. The flavor is almost as good as sun gold!

Hey Reid, @Anderwood, I am still picking plenty of Honey Drop yellow cherry tomatoes from my plants. Many of the tomatoes are done including many of the cherry tomatoes. But those Honeydrop are really going strong. Seem sweeter to me now even than they did earlier in the season.

@Newyorkrita I'm glad to hear it! I did not get around to planting my fall peas Sad And I didn't save room. Next year!!

I am in the middle of my masters and lack of time. My honey drops just pretty much quit. We got frost last night. We had an awesome squash harvest:

Violina Rugosa, Greek Sweet Red, Peanut pumpkin, New Mexican Navajo Blue (Friend got the seeds from a Native American) and regular butternut.

Today I stepped outside, looked at the debris piles in the garden, looked at the tomatoes and chiles I did not bother to uncover today turned around and went back inside.

Two inches of snow outside my place this morning. Summer, and even Fall, is now over for us.

Ouch, Connie... I would not be very happy to be looking at 2" of snow on the ground right now! Thumbs down . I hope you still get some nice days before the "real" winter sets in!

Those are some lovely squashes there! Thumbs up All I ever grow are summer squash here but I also got an awesome harvest on them.

I am not getting the harvest on my fall peas that I get on my spring peas. Not as much. But I think I planted them slightly early. So next year will plant two weeks later and again hope for the best. Meanwhile will of course plant peas again in the spring. And plant Sugar Magnolia for sure!!

Honey Drop has been a hit here and doesn't look like it wants to quit. Still, it is getting very late in the season so eventually I will just pull them.
