Your mailbox man looks neat! I like him a lot better than just a plain mailbox to keep gloves/handtools in. I have to make one more like that than the boring one that I had planned (when I get back to the states, of course)

No yard and, now that you mention it; I have not seen a mail box anywhere here. Not ever out in the country. We are moving next month and have requested that the realtor find us a place with either a yard or big balcony. Got a call from them that they have ?something? that we need to "jump on" tonight. I would like to see it first...I don't want to get stuck in a concrete canyon. We will find out more in a couple of hours..

If I used colored string, and painted each can a different bright primary color, it would actually be pretty cool, huh?

I started out using some wood from Hank's scrap bin to tie the strings to but then I decided sticks would look more authentic

I was going to hang it way out the in the woods as I was sure the clanging would be terrible but the sound is pretty groovy.
