Good examples of rebloom. I will pay more attention to All Fired up next year. It is easy to get distracted isn't it? Sticking tongue out Distant Star and Swirling Spider are really nice!

This seems to be a stellar year for re-bloom scapes. I cannot remember ever having this many, and some of the plants have only been in the ground a couple of years.

The color of that bright yellow Miss Victoria caught my eye, is that a registered plant? Can't pull it up.

Larry, Miss Victoria is one of the Blooms of Bressingham hybrids---as I told you about Lady Scarlet, these English grown DLs don't show up in the AHS data base.

I found a new scape on 'Liquid Memory' this morning. It's about to finish up the first set of scapes. That pleases me a lot. It's had a great season without rebloom, but that just makes it better. Wish there were more scapes showing Smiling .

Avedon - You are getting a lot of nice rebloom this year!

Here are some of mine that have rebloomed already.

Spacecoast Francis Busby has three rebloom scapes so far.
Thumb of 2016-07-02/shive1/4b23e5

Sweet Prairie Wind had instant rebloom on every scape.
Thumb of 2016-07-02/shive1/880eac

Betty Warren Woods has two rebloom scapes going now.

Everybody is having such nice rebloom--just as realtors say "location, location, location" I say for beautiful blooms and lots of them---"water, water, water" and it is the water from the sky that does the trick.

Forbidden Fantasy reblooms very well for me, I'm on my 2nd scape on 1 fan plants. it's just don't quit, even with pods still on the first scapes it just keeps pushing more and more flowers. I had 2 blooms today on 1 of the rebloom scapes and more buds of various sizes still to go.

@beckygardener--I understand rebloom is a desirable trait. What about starting a thread about another desirable trait? FREE FANS. It is my understanding some daylilies are really good about producing prolifs. Maybe if this info is shared one would know which daylily cultivars to keep an eye on. I may have lost a Final Touch prolif. Sometimes you can not easily see prolifs. Hybridizing with the prolif trait might be interesting.
Just a thought. May joy surround you!

Sharon - That is definitely another good trait. You are welcome to start a thread about "Cultivars that produce Proliferations". Go for it! I am sure it will be a great thread!

Larry,
Thank and I would agree with you in regard to a photo of the scape. Sometimes it can be quiet valuable a photo when someone is making up their mind about a particular CV.

I will add that 'Swiriling Spider' is currently potted in a 3gallon black nursery pot. It receives water almost Daylily because it catches sunlight for 6-8 hrs all day. I've added alfalfa, slow release and milorganite to all my CVs in spring. This one has bloomed it's head off. Scapes are 30" plus. And to get back on the forum topic, it has now started a rebloom cycle that has yet to disappoint.
I say, if you don't, you should have this one. One caution is that with all the sun, my blooms tend to wilt so it may benefit from some afternoon shade or even dappled sun thru the day.

Here is an update on the rebloom scape count--this evening I found a rebloom scape on Small World Snow Owl, what a thrill since I love this one and now there will be more flowers. Then, guess what--Zip Boom Bah has produced two more scapes, Willow Dean Smith now has four, four on Jellyroll Truffle. one on WB Mom's Cinnamon Rolls, two on Plastic Pink Flamingos, and at least two on Blackeyed Stella. Who knows what tomorrow will bring--more scapes, I hope. nodding
