How unfortunate to have rust on such a pretty blooming cultivar. But that is wonderful about the late scapes!!!! Hurray!

My last rebloom, except for 'Stella D'Oro', is a bee-pollinated seedling of 'Pardon Me'. The scrapes are taller, the flowers are larger, and the bloom period is much longer than 'Pardon Me'. I apologize for the poor quality of the image.

Just wanted to show something pretty amazing to me--these two blooms of Orange Spice bloomed YESTERDAY--I didn't have a chance to photograph them yesterday, so I was so surprised to see how they looked this morning, just an hour ago when I took the pictures. These pics were taken in full sun, and they appear to be holding their own just fine. I can only wonder if it is because of the cold front that blew in yesterday. It was 38 degrees when we got up this morning, maybe it's like preservative for the blooms Hilarious!

I thought I was done with rebloom, but yesterday I saw a new scape on 'Aztec Firebird'. Not sure it has time to bloom before we start getting frosts, but it's in a container and I may move it close to the garage so I can slip it inside if we have any.

On a rebloom scape of a 'Wild Horses' seedling, there is a pod. I think any seeds would be from a self cross because when the pod formed I would only have had diploid plants blooming at the same time and the seedling should be a tetraploid plant. That makes me curious about the seeds. In order to reach maturity, it will also probably have to be protected from the weather until it's mature. The container is more manageable in terms of its size, but it's a large, glazed, SLICK ceramic container that I don't want to break (they really should build hand holds into these things). The crowd of plants indoors for the winter months always results in a lot of shuffling around and that puts anything that can break in some danger. Rats Sticking tongue out .

That is cool that you have a late scape. I hope it blooms for you! I have a late scape on Cyber Zone and am wondering if it will make it to bloom too.

Maybe some folks here have ideas about how to move large slick ceramic pots, Donald. Your comment got me to thinking about how I would do it and I was wondering if it could be wrapped with some kind of fish net (basketball netting??) for better grip.

@blue23rose, Vickie you Seal Of Approval should do better next year. Rust most likely came in with plants you received this year.
Lovely blooms everyone.

Great blooms still coming your way Mike. My Going Bananas is still not opening, but there is hope in the next couple of days for a couple last blooms. If it gets too cold I'll cut it and put it in a vase inside to bloom Whistling Whistling

Ginny, I was greeted today by a new scape on 'Flying Blue Dragon.' Like you, I'll take it in if I need to, but there's no frost predicted for the next 7 days. This year will be the latest date on which there has been a killing frost. In our gardens, that usually happens earlier in the month.

It's an evergreen that's supposed to be hardy in zone 5. We'll see how it fares come next spring.
