There will be a great big acorn fight on ATP tomorrow night Sunday, October 2, 2011 beginning promptly at 7:30 pm EDT and ending at 7:45 pm EDT.
This will be like a snowball fight. Come one, come all & have a blast throwing acorns to all & sundry!
There will be a prize for the person who throws the most acorns during the fight.
The prize will be a "flying acorn" microbadge specially created for the winner by Dave. This microbadge will not be able to be purchased; it can only be won.
So gather your acorns & come prepared to throw like a major league baseball player. Let's have FUN!!!!!!!!

Spread the word. Post it on your favorite forums & threads.
Dave is going to make a notice box posted on the front page but bring this to the attention of others please.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!!!!! LET'S THROW SOME ACORNS!!!!!

I hate time changes & wish like heck we would just do away with the whole thing...make it one way or the other period. Screws me up for 3 weeks twice a year. Glare

Dave has now put the notice in the "Did You Know?" box where the lightbulb is to the right hand side just below the ATP header.

Rolling on the floor laughing So is there a place where rules are or will be posted? and do we play with the acorns we already have? or will there be "phantom" acorns. Would hate not havin' acorns to get a shirt with. OK I'll shut up now Whistling Whistling

Play with the acorns you have.
Who thinks we need rules? What rules would you suggest? Hey, I've never had a snowball fight but I've sure had fruit fights & there weren't any rules. throw & duck or be hit by flying fruit. Rules? 7:30 to 7:45 period. The one who throws the most acorns gets the microbadge.
It has been suggested that a person with oodles & boodles of acorns can throw them all in one shot & win but that's not thinking it through. If I have 2000 acorns & throw them ALL at Ginger then I may not win. ginger will have the 2000 acorns I threw at her combined with the (let's say) 500 acorns she already has. that means ginger can potentially throw 2500 acorns. Then will Ginger win? That depends on what who she throws them to does.
Can we not just have fun?

Then that is her right. Guess what? I intend to have fun & if I don't have a single acorn left at the end of the fight that's fine with me. I can earn more acorns to buy Tee shirts with & if I don't then that's okay too.
Do you remember when we were kids & it was about fun? Or has everyone gotten so hung up on possessions?

Wish I could spend the time loading pics. It is a bad time of year to be sitting inside. I got weeds, plants, cleanup, etc etc - so much to do.

I was so excited when I got enough to buy one more badge! I sat and thought and thought about which one to add, and finally settled on the Cardinal. Whistling
