We bought our place a year ago and it has 3 huge trellises with this plant growing on it. It is a perennial. Amazing privacy coverage. Could someone help me with identifying it please (not the yellow plant at the bottom of the photo, the green leafy one)

Possibly Parthenocissus quinquefolia which has lovely fall colour.

It does turn nice red colors in the fall. I have read that virginia creepers get berries on them. I have never seen a berry on these at all. Some photos of virginia creeper do look like what I have though.

It looks like my Virginia Creeper - which also never produces berries.

If you look carefully at the second photo you can see the plant has bloomed and is now probably in the stage of making berries that will turn black when mature.
They are easily overlooked though..

Thanks so much!
When I got home today I had a closer look and do see some very tiny berries starting. Guess it is a Virginia creeper. 😊
