The first one looks like Bishop's Weed to me. If it is, everyone here will encourage you to get rid of it, but I think it's a nice groundcover if you have the space for it. I have it in a shady, kind of wild area and it has not been a problem for me at all. If space is limited, it can be a bit of a thug.
