Hardiness zone 6a. I'm a noob when it comes to plant identification. I'm trying to learn because I kind of was inherited a flower and herb medicinal garden and I'm wondering if this flower is poisonous and if any parts can be used medicinally?

Looks like a Monarda, possibly didyma.

Definitely monarda, or bee balm. Could be monarda didyma or one of the named varieties like Fireball, or Jacob Kline.
