I did save seeds from the plant I had..have no idea if they breed true from seed or not and even though I save and sprout a few thousand daylily seeds each year, saving seed and getting them to sprout from a different plant is new to me. Once I see if the salpiglossis seeds will sprout, end of March/early April, I can send you some if you'd like. The seeds are really tiny and I have more than enough for what I will need.
Just did a search and found info for sprouting - takes 2 - 3 weeks, they germinate in darkness and can be started indoors 10 -12 weeks before last frost/planting outdoors.
