I'm right there with you on the weeds. Seems like that is the gardening chore that I spend most of my time on, and it never ends LOL. I actually find most weeding to be very therapeutic, except when it is the worst kind of deep rooted weeds that have also formed dense mats - that is when it takes so much more energy exertion than I can handle without getting completely exhausted, and in this heat... bleh.

Three whole days off from work for the 4th of July holiday - alternating weeding and floating on a raft in the pond is on the agenda. Hope you enjoy the holiday too.

Hi Terri! Sounds like a lot of fun...the floating on a raft part.... I'm planning on spending the weekend in the garden...I really want to make some progress on a few "problem areas" I have and also I need to mark a lot of stuff that needs lifted and divided later in the season.

I know I'm becoming obsessed with this darned galinsoga weed, but honestly...it's horrible. It's not deep rooted, its not prickly, its just EVERYWHERE. And it never stops. AND as if that wasn't bad enough, it smells like a mouse nest...bleck. Believe it or not, somebody said it's edible. Id have to be starving and even then I'd think twice. *LOL*
