I found a small ficus at a local store and fell in love with it. I searched for the plant when I got home and I thought that I had properly identified it as a Curly Ficus. Upon further research though, there is no such thing, and picture searches have led me to links identifying the same variant as a Curly Fig, ficus benjamina 'barok'/'curly', and ficus pumila 'curly'. None of these variations are in the NGA database, and I can't fathom how I could have found an unusual variant in a rural grocery store.
I'm sure that I'm just somehow missing the proper name for this cool little plant, and am hoping that someone might know the answer.
Thanks! Kristin
