Very nice. Is it pollenless?

Tons of buds. That's going to be a 'sight to see' in about 10 to 14 days. Thumbs up

That first one!
Without the white tips (which I like very much), you could call it Night Sky. Thumbs up

Fabulous! What a beautiful sight that seedling patch is. I think that the dark seedling is the nicest I've seen in the 'black' colour range. Love the pale rays on the tepals from the frosted nectaries to the white tips!

Tracey - Only pollenless because I removed the pollen. Very few of my seedlings are pollenless on their own.
Lorn - We have been in drought conditions for a while, but so far I have been able to keep it looking ok.
Rick - This is the heaviest black Tango markings I have had on any of the seedlings. I have never named any of the lilies here, Night Sky would work.
Della - As you know I am always dabbling around to see what color effects I can get.

George Slate x tango seedling, and a frosted center seedling being kept for further color work.

Hank, do you ever enter your stems in lily shows? They are very nice lilies. How long have you been hybridizing lilies?

Tracey, I have been hybridizing lilies since 1993. I do not show lilies at the shows. I did attend the 2001 NALS show in Hamilton just to meet people. It worked out as I was able to collect pollen and do crosses early in the morning and then drive to the show each day.

Another seedling that will be useful for further color work.

Gorgeous. Are they very similar siblings behind it or clones?

Della, the three pink / yellow in the photo are clones.

The anthers on this next seedling have no usable pollen.
This is an outfacing (1b) brushmark that is from a 2013 cross.

Holy smokes! That one's got everything:
- wide, overlapping tepals
- clear, defined colors
- complimentary pistil and anther coloring
- perfectly pencil edges on all the tepals
- and pollenless anthers that look normal!

Who could ask for anything more? (I don't think rhythm applies here. Big Grin )

Well, I guess there is "one" thing: good inflorescence structure. Thumbs up

Thanks all for the compliments !

I think this next one works because of the contrasting pollen color.
