Anybody had much to do with tetra LA breeding ? In the 2009 Hudsons seed I purchased, there were some very outstanding blooms .. definitely not asiatics , very vigorous bulbs, which resembled trumpet bulbs.. I believe these were some of the experimentation of Joe Halinars.. Hopefully I will have some pics soon! Blinking

I'm sure looking forward to these photos Anthony. You must have purchased the "Asiatic Lily OP Hybrids" mix. I see the "Finest Trumpet and Aurelian " mix was also available that year. (I have never tossed a Hudson catalog).

I tried a bit of tetra asiatic pollen on 'Eyeliner' this (last) year and got pods with lots of chaff and a few really thickened seeds - hard to see embryos but I'll plant them and see what happens.
