Lynn...we usually do not have much snow, but there have been times it snowed off and on during Jan and Feb. Normally we stay above 0 degrees and usually above 10 degrees. I'm in Middle Tennessee, so no big hills or mountains here. We're in the 90's today with a dry strong breeze. Some of my plants started wilting and I'm sure it's the hot breeze. Sad

You do get colder than we do here Linda, and you definitely have a longer, hotter growing season.
Here is a picture I took today of the above pot.
Here is from when I first planted it in middle July and then a picture I took today. Not sure what I did with the first picture to make it look so olive colored? And I just noticed that I didn't take it from the same angel. : ( I will get another picture tomorrow, it's still raining.

It's filled in a lot since July....It's a large Strawberry pot!!! Blinking Wish I could find one like that... Sticking tongue out

My succulent plants have started doing better with cooler nights. Even with it being 96 here today, we'll get down in the lower 60's tonight. During August, when we were in the 100's, the night's were in the mid to upper 80's and it was humid. The humidity isn't bad anymore.

That is way to hot and humid for me. We lived in Miss. delta for two years. I really loved it, but I think it would kill me now.

I think my blue ones are about the same at yours Lynn, Love the glaze on the one on the right.
They are about 16in high 11 in across not including the pockets (which are pretty big). They are those heavy clay pots that are coming over from Vietnam. The glazing is somewhat uneven, these were the two best and really most of them I wouldn't have bought as they were so poorly glazed. But I liked these and don't mind the imperfections

Those are GORGEOUS, Holly! It is a challenge sometimes to pick through those imported pots to find the ones with the best glazing job.
Did you use the "ring test" on them?

Holly those are wonderful. Love the color and those big, deep pockets. So much easier to keep things growing happily with that kind of pockets. They do look a lot like mine. This is the first time I have been able to find them made like this. I was so excited, and I got it at a 40% discount, I think I paid $20.00 for it.

I'm glad you like it, Linda! Lynn bought that one and put some cute succulents in it. How are they doing, Lynn?

This was the most recent one that came out of the firing (the third that survived), which Chris purchased. I was really happy with the way it turned out.

I've got 2 more ready for glaze-firing (one blue and one the same as this one) and 2 more in greenware. I've modified my attachment technique and so far so good....fingers crossed!
