Anyone have any idea what kind of plant this is? I'm fairly certain it's a weed, but I kind of like it and was wondering what it was.

My wild guest : the plant is member of fabaceae family. Maybe a species of Alysicarpus. Wish another expert member will come soon to id the plant.

Thank you for your response. I will complete my profile. I am in Northern California - up by Mt. Lassen. It does look similar to Alysicarpus. I find it funny I've never seen it growing before, but now I have several patches of it growing around my home in different areas.
