Lovely blooms! My hymenocallis did not bloom again..it is just grasshopper feed this year sadly.

My Adenium obesum is thankfully holding on to its blooms, carry over from June, and it is now nicely opening up buds on its left side, so it is balancing out finally. It was getting too bloom heavy on the side facing east:

Noid Plumie Yellow is still blooming too, one at a time, glad it is holding up well:
Thumb of 2016-07-07/tarev/517f24

It is like pulling teeth with my Caladium to go on with its leaves, I have several leaves trying to show, at least 2 made it so far ..as a consolation I have a bud waiting to bloom:

After getting moved up here, I would think of various plants or seeds that I had not brought with me...had one of the bright pink centranthus, but not the 'reddish' one...and then was parked at an overlook and looked down, out the window, and there was one flowering there...LOL..only one I've seen around here...this is my first flowering seedling from the seeds I grabbed there...

Got some bloomers - in no organized order at all. I guess the amaranth isn't actually a "bloomer" and neither is the little polka dot plant reseeder in the hosta pot - came from about five feet away, but oh well. The white sage is blooming at the very top, backed up by what's left of the celosia 'flamingo feather' and the cleome. The clematis is blooming, too, as well as the silver dusty miller 'Colchester White' gotta get some closeups of those. Later.

Is that the Virgin's Bower clematis?

I have Sweet Autumn Clematis planted at the base of a fence covered with very old, shrub-like ivy...where it can just go wild, but it hasn't yet...maybe this year, been in the ground a couple of years now and I see lot of new growth...

That's c. ligusticifolia, Annie's calls it 'Western White Clematis'. I haven't found it in the P Database, but wonder if its also var. californica. I'll post it over there at the Clematis Forum and see if anyone knows. Its a native.

yes, the usual mish mash of names....some sites will list it as Virgin's Bower, which is technically clematis virginiana, others as Western Virgin's Bower and some as Western White Clematis. The Master Gardeners sale here recently had it as Western White Clematis....lovely by any name...

I have this brug...from a cutting....and day before yesterday I started hacking at the big old overgrown ivy on the back fence, having decided that I would put the brug in there now that it's finally taken off...wind protection, frost protection...so I pulled it out just a bit ago and OMG!...it's flowering, I had no idea! 2 flowers and about 6-7 more buds...I'm so excited!...LOL...
