Thread OP

I had some rough things happen this year and never got my garden planted. I planted a few peas and rabbits ate them. We planted a few rows of potatoes too that are about ready to dig up. I live in southern PA. What could I plant yet this year? I generally plant tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peppers, cabbage, corn, squash and melons. Do I have any hope of planting any of this within the next week or two?

I would plant bush beans, supper squash, cucumbers. For fall you can plant root veggies like beets or turnips. Never give up.

I was just reading about this, in addition to the great suggestions already I read that you can repeat sow spinach and radishes and fast maturing carrots this time of year. Just make sure you look for heat resistant varieties if possible.

I just put in Bush beans and snap peas today.

I think you can plant kale for fall or it might even be still too early for them.

Welcome! MamaPhen I'm from PA too.
You can still do tomatoes and peppers if you buy them already started. This time of year you can get some great sales especially at Lowe's.

Where in PA are you from?
