LOL! Yeah, searching the common names of plants can lead to some interesting results!

These plants were in ground for summer vacation. Excavated & potted yesterday.
Snake plants (Sansevieria trifasciata) with a Begonia and some Billbergias.

Kalamchoe can be a addictive plant. I wish I had room for some of the larger varieties. They are fast growing for me and doing great under t5ho lights for the wet cold season.

How are your outdoors temps right now Tiffany? It is getting much cooler here...but still dry, so my succulents are still holding well, cool sunshine and dry.

Here are some of my combos: lots of trial and error, too fast growing ones got to cut and replant or moved elsewhere..so far these ones are holding and sharing their containers nicely. Usually I do not like to do combos due to the varying growth rates, but some I realized can benefit from it, more roots to share the media.

I like this container during Fall, when conditions are right like this year, Faucaria tuberculosa goes on her close/open blooming show:

Those are fabulous! What a fun trip around your space. :+) You have some very interesting planters too, love the curved edges!

Days are 70's-80's nights have been around 50. Supposed to plunge into possible first frost this weekend. Everything in a pot will be in house or GH by Saturday... and my number of pots will probably grow on Sat.

Do you leave any/all of these combos out all year?

Love your temps there, Tiffany! This week it has started to go 10 degrees cooler so our highs will be in low 60's, thankfully still dry, but I wish one more round of rain. November has been drier unlike last Oct.

My combos stays outdoors year round. So far they have endured well, even last December when we had more rain than usual. I did add a lot of chicken grit and pumice as top dressing, before I left last Dec, and just so glad to see them all well when I returned in January.

I have moved the ones with the curvy containers this time on a lower location, so it backs to that low adobe wall. It gets too cold on its old location. Plus I want to see better the blooms of the Faucaria Smiling

My sister did a most untypical method of making a succulent garden. She bought a shallow, about 2 foot diameter pot. About a half dozen, succulents, small 2" pots. Soil in pot, to level out pots. She left plants in pots !!! Put them in big pot, and filled open spaces around pots with soil. Go figure ? When soil goes down. She adds more.
They have been many years this way, there happy and blooming, as i speak. Morning sun with no afternoon sun. Right hear in Fresno CA.
