Jill, please don't drive until your legs are re-bounchable. I can drive to Frederick, fetch our (Chantell's, my) bulbs, no sweat. Heck, willing to bring lunch. Requests?

You're not available until after the weekend, right? Donner and I were sorta kicking around an idea (hypertufa!!) for Saturday, maybe with Terri (Aspen) too... but could continue on whatever day next week works for you...

As for lunch, we could go simple / Corsican -- bread, cheese, fruit - I have that all here. Smiling

However I have no black pig.

I talked to Karina this morning at ADR, and the story on the Amaryllis is that there are no Gervase for us. Since Walter had told me he had them, he sent what he thought was the next best thing, the jumbo Charisma bulbs, and he did not charge us for them. So instead of Gervase, you get free bulbs of Charisma, and we'll put Gervase on our *early* order next year.

She's also going to figure out what happened with the Ipheion... either they have a box in the warehouse and will send them right out (so they'd arrive tomorrow), or they are out of them and she'll give me a credit on our order, which I'll pass along.

I'm leaving this afternoon for NJ, back Sunday evening. I can stop by Monday, Tuesday or Thursday next week. Whatever day works best for you.

Bacon on the hoof! How about Monday noon-ish or Tuesday after 1? We're doing some 'tufa on Saturday, so if you want to try it out I'll leave things set up.

Let's say Monday noon.
I'll pass on tufa. Not too keen on crafts.

LOL, yes that's a big crate of tulip bulbs!

Chantell, did you get 25 Rembrandt tulips at the fall swap?

The only things that I was missing I think I sent a tree mail to you… But I'll need to look for it. I don't believe that they were tulips though. Lisa if you let me know what your work schedule is like I can figure out when I can head in your direction. This week on a weekday might be rough because my girls are away for a week and take care of letting the dog out for me when I am late getting home. You were gracious enough to pick them up though so again let me know times are most convenient for you and I'll do what I can. Thank you again!
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

Chantell, you were missing 75 'Sweet Pink Mix' tulips.

The Ipheion were cancelled, as were the cyclamen. Lisa has your 5 Leucojum 'GG'. She is probably willing to offload more of her tulips your way, if you want them.

With the long range of bloom times in a mix like that, you really do need a lot of them to have an impact IMO. With 25, for example, you may not have more than 5 blooming at one time.
