Dangit! bad timing .
If the plants only knew how I feel

I I was skeptical on the reasoning of my plants not catching food like I thought they should be. So I looked back at my original pictures of the plant when I bought it and it had its carnivorous leaves out, in the picture of them today solidifies my reasoning that I believe they are going dormant.. what a shame .. As you could see the humidity was 78 - 80% and still did nothing to benefit my cause. The waiting game begins

Wrong time of year for them to be going dormant. Time to re-assess your growing conditions.

This is the first time I've had them out all summer, they choose to go dormant sporadically. Just bad luck on my part.

They are not winter hardy, native to central America. Last year I got them around August and had them outside for remaining of summer temps.
Brought them I during fall.
Had them in my terrarium domed trays. They went dormant around December until around February and early March. Came out, and I never noticed that the leaves WENT succulent again. I'm assuming I got around 25 more days until they come out again.

Did you ever see my video of my carnivorous I posted on YouTube?

It's months old, but gives you an idea of a what I have.

Hmm..maybe just put them by your window indoors. I don't bring my Pings out just because it gets way too dry here, and temps fluctuate too much outdoors.
