We sometimes see virused stems or flowers benched here at Claremont, but (unfortunately) little is usually said and I've never seen an exhibit excluded because of it. It seems that being told one's lily is virused is too often taken as an insult or offense... so those that recognise it just generally keep their mouths shut for fear of offending participants.
I guess it comes down to the purpose of the show's organisers.
