there are trees in my backyard that bloom these pink and white flowers every summer and they smell like perfume. i have been wondering what this was for years and have never been able to find an answer! help would be much appreciated

I think this may be it, although I'm surprised it's a hardy plant as far north as New Jersey.

btw, for future reference, I just typed "pink powder puff" into the Plant Database and this popped up. Sometimes you get lucky! Big Grin

I think you're probably right, Zuzu. The other one I found would not be hardy enough to grow in NJ.
