I think its a Sempervivum. Nice find.

The tubes do resemble a Gollum Jade, Lin! I have one though and I know this one to be something else. It was among the chicks and hens starts at the green house and they told me I could have one (: It is just very different looking so I'm curious as to what it actually is!
