Yesterday, Dad and I were working in the yard and I saw an anole in my Red Cedar. I was taking pictures when Dad said, "Look at what's to the right of the anole." Sure enough, there was a humongous bug with what appeared to be pieces of another bug as its prey. I only got two photos before it got scared and flew away. Like it was afraid of us! I was afraid of it! I'll post the two original photos and then a zoomed in and cropped version so you can see it up close. Let me know what either the predator or its prey are.

Robberfly... I know I've said this before but I've seen that fly. Their prey is anything that flies close enough for them to capture or any insect they can ambush, especially in flight.

Looks like it has a wasp. Perhaps a cicada killer.
