I plan on it. I'm already planning my garden for 2017. I want to do a garden with veggies from the 1800s. I love history. And have already placed an order for Monticello veggies grown by Andrew Jackson and ordered Aunt Lou's Underground Railroad tomato seeds. Super excited.

What an interesting garden that will be. Be sure and post lots of photos when it gets going next year.

Sheri, I'm far from being a new member, but I feel exactly the same way. Most of the people that I know in "real life" mostly think I'm crazy when I start talking about gardening...

I can't wait to hear and see more about the garden you are planning, what a great idea!

It's a very addicting site. I would need several acres and micro-climates to do everything I've learned here!

Ty, It's so exciting. With the heat index here in South Georgia being 100+ today I've been out measuring and drawing maps of what I'd like to accomplish. However I think in September I'm going to plant Georgia collards, mustards and turnips, Onions and I'd like some red potatoes. Wish me luck guys.

Now my mouth is watering. Going out to pick some collards and red potatoes. Be back.

They are now on the stove cooking. Red new potatoes, collards, garlic, tiny bit of salt and some cayenne pepper. Won't be long now. Come on over Sheri.

My daughter is trying to get us to move to Texas.
If we did we could all get together a cook up a big pot of greens.

Yum, I'll make the cornbread and Iced tea!!! and banana pudding!!

Oh for heaven's sake! You all should move up here to the upper peninsula and eat pasties and drink beer like the rest of us!
(yes, there are veggies in pasties)

Nothing like sopping up that pot liquor with cornbread.
Sandy I sure would be willing to try those pasties, but I would pass on the beer. I just never acquired a taste for it. DH likes it on occasion.
