No, there is a hotspot for Pokemon, they randomly appear more often if you use a Pokemon lure. Lures can be placed at historical landmarks or parks.

If children are out alone where are the parents? If they are young teens they should know not to go up to strangers alone or go in groups. This is stuff everyone should know regardless of a game...

Keith, I absolutely agree with you; there are a lot of stupid people in the world and they will do dumb stuff whether or not they're playing a particular game. (Of course, we all do "dumb stuff" now and then, but certain people seem to make a career out of it.) I have to admit Pokemon Go looks like fun to me -- but I doubt I would find too many "hot spots" out here in the boonies . (Just as well, I have too many other things vying for my attention anyway.)

That's funny because no spots are supposed to be on homeowners property. There are thousands of houses in my area and not one has Pokemon. Only in the street

Keith I've heard way to many people say you can play as lord or god or something like that and place them for others to find for it not to be true. Are you saying nobody can place a pokemon for someone else to find it?

Nope. Only registered Pokemon hotspots can have a Pokemon lure placed. Every Pokemon is randomly generated.

LOL! I'm so bummed out that I only have an Android phone and I think Pokemon Go is just for Iphones (right?). Well, not really bummed out... I think I like playing "go, tomato plant, go!" even better than I would like Pokemon Go.
