It was identified as Callisia cordifolia but I have doubts. Its leaves are thick almost succulent..and rounded. It has never bloomed.

Thank you for answering.... sorry, I already have Callisia repens and is different, a more fragile plant with purple stems thinner and brittle
with the underside of the leaves purple. The unknown plant has stems and leaves
thicker and shiny.

Nope, not Peperomia. The more I look at the stems it does have the growth habit of Callisia or Tradescantia of some sort.

The leaves and stems do appear to be succulent like; wonder if it could be a variety of Crassula?

Compare this one to yours. Inch Plant (Callisia repens)

Tradescantia fluminensis can produce foliage that small. I've seen that many times when sticking pieces in pots.

C. repens would have a darker stem, and not have those bigger leaves toward the top of the vines.

Thank you to all ! . I will look for Crassula ... although it seems more the family Commelinaceae.
The plant has more or less 3 years old.. it grows fast, but my mother has a five years ago, she never saw flowers.
This is an old cutting.... it has roots at the nodes

Hola Patricia, you mentioned that your plant has succulent leaves but is not a pepperomia; therefore, I wonder if it could possibly be one of the dischidias, quizas String of Nickels (Dischidia nummularia) or something similar. What do you think?

That last picture showing the stem and leaves sure looks like something in the Commelinaceae family!

The Dischidia has pairs of opposite leaves. Are you able to add what state or country you are in, Ana? Was your plant purchased or a pass-along?

I'm in Nicaragua. I obtained this plant by cuttings of another plant in the garden of my mother,
She bought in nurseries here. A friend began to identify and told that is Callisia cordifolia..... but it is not.

Callisias are not well documented in English in print or visually.

You could improve your chances of solving the mystery if you are able to take some more cuttings and put them in other conditions, to increase chances of seeing whatever bloom it might make, and any other characteristics it might not display for some reason in the singular condition in which it currently resides. Eventually, you should be able to observe/document something definitive/diagnostic.

Searching in another language if you have such a skill could yield more info. In the meantime, I'm as curious as you are! Good luck!

Your link has been very useful to me because I found a very similar plant to mine Aneilema zebrinum.
It is almost identical except that my plant does not have those stripes on leaves as pronounced. It is the most similar but it seems not reported for my country.
