I live in NW FL/South AL region. My front porch faces west and is shady all day until the brutal evening (summer) sun hits it for an hour+ before setting. I have English ivy in large pots with trellises on either side of my door, and it has been just beautiful for nearly a year now. Suddenly, it is wilting, turning brown and dying, and nothing I do seems to help. I would like to replace it with something that will live in this location. Can you suggest anything?
Thank you very much!

|It's hard to kill Ivy. Is it possible that it's become root bound? Maybe a larger pot and water would solve the problem.|
