I've got a bunch of sedum that I'm trying to ID. Some of them I've got names for but not sure, some have no ID at all. Any help is appreciated!

Borchii Sport?

They first one does look like it could be Borchii Sport. Could you do a close up of it? Closer than this picture?
Second picture does appear to be acre majus.
Not sure on the album teretifolium, it does appear to be in the album family. It sure makes nice mounding ground cover, beautiful.
Chris the NOID almost looks like your lanconicum?
You really got me on that last one Chris. It almost looks like Lori's Sea Urchin but not variegated.
These can be so hard to idea with certainty, there are so many acre, album, etc. If you have tags it is much easier to eventually ID when they are different forms of sedum, but difficult if you have the same species. Then it can get very difficult. I have several in my yard for some years back that I didn't keep track of names, I can tell they are from album, acre, etc. but not more than that.
Wish I was more help on the IDing. Sticking tongue out

Thanks Lynn. Yes, I'll get a close up of the 1st one.

I keep meaning to tell you that the lanconicum is actually album lanconicum. I do have the tag on that one. Is it possible to change the name in the database, and if so, not sure if it needs to be moved or not?? It could be the same plant. The picture above is in deep shade to maybe it's just more stretched out. I'll take close ups of both and compare.

The last one is tiny - maybe 3" across total. Its pretty cool looking but I couldn't find anything that looks like it at all.

Thanks again!

I just checked Lanconicum Chris. It does show it is an album specie. Lanconicum is the cultivar name from what I am finding. http://www.sempervivumgarten.d... Am I missing something? Could be the heat while mowing the lawn. Rolling on the floor laughing Trying to get cooled down before going back out.

Yup, I'm sure that's Borchii Sport. Thanks! You're not missing anything on the Lanconicum - just wasn't sure if it should be listed under "A" in the database now.

Had a beautiful day here yesterday....finally....a nice day on a weekend! Got my little greenhouse up and full of coleus. Today I want to finish fixing up my semp pots that look a little tired from last year. Yesterday I made my Mom a semp wreath and turtle.

Did you take pictures Chris. You are such a loving daughter. I miss mine, in a warm fuzzy way, not sad.
I found a wire suet box in the shed and another wire container. Think I will line them and plant them like a wreath. See, your ideas are contagious. Big Grin
A greenhouse? How nice, what size? Are you going to use it for winter storing plants? Will it be heated?
I had a great day yesterday also. I got all my lawns mowed, almost have all the weeding down in the front yard. I have about 6 bigger pots that need to be redone. They've needed it for about 2 years, but it just didn't get done. Well this week it will happen. : ) I'm on a roll.
Chris, you might be right on how Lanconicum is listed. I might have to go back and look through the database and do some changing. It's an easy thing to do. Will try to get it done tomorrow.

Forgot to take pictures of Mom's wreath and turtle, but she lives close so I can still do so. Smiling The suet box will look really cool planted! Fantastic idea!! Thumbs up

My greenhouse is only 4' x 8', and not winter-worthy. I'm just using it to harden off plants since I work and can't run them in and our of the house every day.

Makes sense. That's what I liked about the Winter Sowing, I didn't have to harden anything off. Nature did it all. I am going to plants many more things this coming winter. I am now a believer in Winter Sow. Hurray!
