An updated posting to an earlier post in '2016' for better and more representative photos. It shows the pink frost a little better. And even that would have been deeper if not for some very hot nights before blooming. Nice plant. Thumbs up I don't know if it's related to Lavender Frost or not?

Not related to lavender frost, I used to have several Pink Frost trumpet seedlings in my field, where the weather was good enough to show the pink. I did not have many seedlings of Lavender Frost, and only saved seed from backcrossing a similar seedling to its mom, the few seeds I moved with me were all I got from there for lilies, except for the ones you generous people send me.........
I mostly saved Aurelian and American hybrid seeds, those have been the fastest growers for me (except for some of the Western American species that are deathly slow, like L. columbianum and washingtonianum)

Transplanted from 3 gallon pot to hybridizing garden today. Pot planted using my regular garden soil on Dec. 11th, last Fall. The bulb had about doubled in size. The bulb color is a purple brown and is accurate since the bulb is fully seasonal matured for the year. Strong grower, stiff stem and botrytis resistant. I washed away some soil for a partial view of the bulb. Smiling

Impressive. Kinda goes against the convention of garden soil in the garden, potting soil (or mix) in the pot.....

I'd love to have your garden soil in my garden!

Thanks for the compliments. I do agree on the soil part of it---I do have some darn good dirt. Take a look at the roots on any bulb I post. The roots tell you a lot about the gardener and his/her soil and chemistry. It can also tell you if a bulb is sick or not and a few other things. But let's not forget the main purpose of my post here was to hi-lite what a beautiful strong hybrid Buggy had created. Thumbs up
