What is this bug on my Sunflowers. I have several of them. Are they bad or good?

That looks like one of the assassin bugs, but not sure which species. It may be one of the stages of the WheelBug.

In looking at the long legs and very long antennas I figured it to be a predator. Moonhowl's i.d. and link cinched it for me. It is a predator of garden pests so are very beneficial in the garden...

Welcome them, yes. But do not touch as their bite is more painful than a wasp sting.

Usually its only the shield bugs(stinkbugs) you find on sunflowers, congratulations!
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
