This forum states that.....

Am I missing it or is there no place on the forum that we can post pictures of things other than our gardens, plants, bugs, etc.?
Like just photos of scenery, hobbies, and so on....

No goal really, just wondering if there was a place to share everyday pics and discussion about them.
But it seems that this forum is for the technical and learning aspect and not for posting random images for general enjoyment and discussion. At least that's what I got from the rule.

The sandbox forum is the designated place for any and all not necessarily garden/gardening related stuff.
I'd love to see your random images of whatever Goat!
You could start a thread in the sandbox and/or join one that's already going and of course the discussion can be whatever as well--not limited to the technical discussion of photography
Please tag me when you decide on a place cuz I don't want to miss it

And, if it ends up being an other-photography thread anyway, somehow deemed worthy of helping us all become better photographers, the whole thing can be moved into the photography forum later ...which is probably better than starting here and getting moved to the sandbox, although that's a fair option too

Not looking for a critique thread, just a thread to enjoy each others photos and comments, etc.

Gene, I have been doing photography for over 25 years, my work has been published in magazines, newspapers, books, internet, world wide entomology research, major international research natural history collections, and more. I have images at the Entomological Museum at Mississippi State University, as well as in the USDA's National Pollinator Collection, which is housed in Logan, Utah, Biodiversity Data Journal and other places, etc. I have visited most of the photography forums on the www, too.
I am not looking for another website, I was looking to enjoy and share random photos of things other than gardens and plants with the people here interested in photography.
I love gardening as much as most here but also have other things that I like to photograph...I just like photography and am sure there are others here that feel the same. Just looking to share pics with others and have some conversation about the images.
