I use a pair of lobster shears. While taking a class on making flowers from coke cans I found it easy to cut with the shears. Also, it is simple to use a small hole punch (the kind used for paper) to make a hole and tie a string in it to hang. I use it on plumerias for the name of each one. To write the name I use a hardwear used to punch holes.
