Welcome! Mike. Glad to have you on the forum, and a renewed member of NALS. Do you specialize in a particular division of lilies?

Thread OP

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Connie, as for the photos, perhaps in time. Not really a photo person, and my equipment pales in comparison to what other members of this forum have.

Dave, as to preference in lily divisions - I enjoy them all but generally lean towards division VI and OT's. The local rabbits seem to enjoy the asiatics as much as I do and I conceded that battle to them years ago. Having moved recently and now with two dogs, I am taking baby steps back into asiatics, but the youngest dog now appears to be working on his archeology merit badge this summer and both dogs seem to enjoy playing "whack a mole" in the backyard - so it has been tough on keeping a couple of little red velvet bulbs in the ground this year. Also, be it climate and/or soil type Orientals only make a good showing for a couple of years for me, so I treat them more or less like annuals.

Again, thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Mike

Oh, wait, I gotta say welcome so here I go Welcome! What part of Michigan did you say you're from? I drove over to Ann Arbor 4 weeks ago and God, was it dry over there, too. Dry all the way over and back.

Thanks for the welcome Lorn. Currently, reside in Fenton, MI about 35 minutes north of A2, and about 10 miles south of Flint (different water supply). The last house was in Troy, the land of Charlie Kroell.

We are finally getting some rain here, going on about 2 hours of light steady rain, hoping for a couple more hours of it.
