How To Make Cheap, Permanent Plant Tags

Tired of trying to remember the name of that plant? Or -- trying to read your faded plant tag that is falling apart? Here's an inexpensive, interchangeable, and permanent plant tag that is easy to make with a few tools and materials.

This is a great idea Hurray! , but I found all the work done including using copper tags (measuring 1" tall x 2.5" wide), a set of 20 of them for $10 and if you have Amazon Prime, 2-Day free delivery, too. At 50¢ a piece for these 10" long tags, which you can write on with black marker, it's not a bad deal. Here's the link to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0078IF63I/

While I would love to be able to afford to buy pre-made labels, I can't. In my life that is considered a luxury item. So I have embraced the diy lifestyle. Besides the wonderful feeling of accomplishment I'm also reusing!
