I believe this is Francee. Notice the leaves in the center of the plant with a much larger white margin? They are all coming out of the same eye should I split it out or just leave it?

I usually dig sports out and discard, so the hosta does not revert to something else. In this case I might dig that eye out, pot it up, and maybe later plant it as a NOID. Watch it for a couple years and see if it is stable.

Patriot was a sport of Francee. Maybe this one's margin will get as wide as Patriot.

A sport is division of a plant that is a mutation, genetically different from the original. Over 90% of variegated hostas are mutations, not seedlings nor species.
