Oh my goodness, leave home for the day and look what happens. All kinds of post.
I am still laughing over the Irish Spring episode. Rolling on the floor laughing

Something else you can do to discourage furry pests in your containers is sticking bamboo sticks around in the pots. You can keep them low enough so they don't show. Place the close enough so the critters can't find a spot big enough to lay in. Hmmmm, before sticking them in the pot you could rub the on the bar of Irish Spring soap. Whistling Double it's effectiveness. Big Grin

Charleen comes up with the best ways to use discarded items in the garden. Very creative mind she has. Lovey dubby Then it doesn't hurt that she has such an awesome sidekick. Thumbs up

Charleen - You are so creative! I have several of those solar lights that don't work anymore. What a great idea to use them as planters! I have started growing succulents and need a place to put them in. You just solved my problem with your photo! Thanks! Hurray!

I have just about all my plants in pots but out of necessity, I moved them to my new property that we moved into 3 months ago, over 600 plants! (still at least one more truck load at my Mom's) I finally have enough room to put just about everything in the ground, I hope.

Anyways, I went on a local garden tour last month and spotted this sweet container idea.

I like that chair Sue! Got one like that in the backyard, except it has a pot sitting in it instead of the coir.
Here's 2009 before the garden was really set up, the chair is somewhat hidden by the nicotiana

Charleen seems like Dufees is becoming less of a destruction derby contestant. : ) He has sure grown up.
How long have you had the Crape Myrtle in a pot? Will it always stay small?

I love your chair plant stand Steven. What else is growing in with the nicotiana? I really like the combination of colors and texture.
