Here is a link to a picture of a sedum that Peter Lapshin is wanting to ID. Anyone know this plant?
http://www.lapshin.org/succule...

To me it looks a lot like this one of mine called Sedeveria hybrid 'Blue Mist'.

My guess would be something like that too - it looks nothing like a Sedum really. I wonder what the blooms look like?

Ahh, just the two people I need to ask this question to.

Lynn, I know what Semps are and I think that Jovibarba is also a Semp, yes?
And I know what Sedum's are, pretty much.
Blue , you have a huge collection of what I call 'soft succulents'.
So my question is this, when I purchase or pot soft succulents (which is what I thought 'blue mist' is) or cacti. Where do I post about them?

Lynn is it possible for us to have a 'soft succulent and cacti' forum instead of putting them in companion plants. I notice that all of the vendors have a distinct separation of the three categories. It would be great to have a separation of the three.

Sedum, Sempervivum, and Soft Succulent's.

Lynn, where you able to get an answer yet? I have several that I could list on a database and I know Blue does.

Debbi sorry it took me so long to get back to you, thank you for reminding me. Sticking tongue out
I am going to start a new thread for soft succulents. If it gets enough interest Dave will eventually give those plant their own forum.
I will do the same for cactus.

The way they have it divided right now is a Jovibarba is not a Sempervivum, although both are in the Family: Crassulaceae
Sempervivum: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S...
Jovibarba: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J...

There are hardy sedum and many tender sedum. So if you are not certain about yours just ask and I will see if I can give you the answer. : )

Tender Succulents The thread "Tender Succulents Chat and Photos" in Cactus and Succulents forum

You will find a database for the Tender Succulents here: http://cubits.org/sedumandsemp...

Cactus. Debbie do you have cactus? If so could you start a new thread for cactus? I don't have any.

Wow, there is a great list of cactus here in the database. Most don't have photos.
So all of you that have named cactus, here is your chance to earn acorns by submitting photos for the entries. Thumbs up
