Unfortunately there isn't any info in our database yet but I'll see about adding some data. The common names for that beauty are "Yellow Water Snowflake" and Marshwort (Nymphoides geminata)

Cool, thank you so much!! I've only seen this at the gardens once. I wish I could find it grown again to get a better photo. It was the first time I've ever seen a water lily like that. Definitely a beauty!! Every time I go to the gardens now I head straight for the pond I found it in and nothing. Crying

I hope you will add your photo to the database! Just click this link Marshwort (Nymphoides geminata) and then click where it says upload an image and follow the directions. Photos go into a queue to be approved by database moderators but you will get a system message once it shows up!

Oh, that's what that is. I bought one from a local nursery that was labeled miniature cold hardy red waterlily. Your photo is what I got. I suspect not winter hardy. Grumbling

You wont be disappointed sallyg!! It's my heaven on earth, my favorite place in the whole world. You can't see everything in one day, with the price of your ticket you get the next 6 days after entering to go back as well. Something to think about when you do get the chance to go.

Bummer! It would take me six days to drive there. Smiling
