Totally unfair, Lisa!

Oh wow! That is incredible that 4-5 inches of rain fell in such a narrow band. I am so sorry that your area got hit with this extreme weather, Lisa. Does your insurance cover your damages? OMG, sounds like you have such an awful summer; first the daylily theft and now this. Truly hope and wish that things will improve for you from hereon.

Thanks Karen but its not that bad. The basement is only partially finished with cement floors and walls and I am washing it down. Only got maybe an.inch or two of water that came in and luckily it did drain just leaving mud to clean off. I am trying to make sure I get it clean and dry as hubby has a mold allergy. Again, so many have it much worse and I keep telling myself that. Since there is little to no loss of property ( thank goodness for metal shelves and plastic totes), I will not make a claim. It just gave me lots of cleaning to do.
